Received our new 20ft container in RAL6007 this morning and it looks fantastic and Storage on Site driver Harry Wood made an excellent job with positioning the container in our clients preferred position. Great work Harry and our client was extremely happy, well done.

S.O.S containers are our incumbent suppliers here at the Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa. Nothing is too much trouble! Dwayne their delivery driver is a legend! Incredibly skilled lifter, managed to tuck a container under a gable and get it much closer than I thought possible to the wall, not a scratch on anything. Handy reversing with a trailer too.
Would I recommend Storage on Site, definitely.
Would I play Jenga against Dwayne.... No!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service from start to finish.

The containers we had delivered were absolutely immaculate — perfectly clean, in excellent condition and exactly what we needed. I was particularly impressed with how well presented they were on arrival.

Kim and her team have been fantastic throughout the whole process. Communication was excellent, everything was well organised, and the delivery went very smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble, and the level of customer service has been first class.

It has been a pleasure dealing with such a professional, friendly and helpful company. I would have no hesitation in using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for containers and a reliable, high-quality service.

Thank you again to Kim and the whole team!

Frequently asked questions
Gatehouses & Security Kiosks

What is a security kiosk used for?

A security kiosk is typically used to control access to a site, monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry, issue visitor passes, or act as a toll booth or weighbridge office. Our security gatehouses are ideal for managing staff and deliveries on construction sites, industrial parks, events, and more.

Do you offer security kiosk hire?

Yes – we provide security kiosk hire across the UK, including fast delivery to sites in London and the South. Our security kiosks are available for both short and long-term hire, and we can offer flexible contracts to suit your project needs.

How much does gatehouse hire cost?

Hire rates will depend on your hire duration and your delivery postcode. For a security gatehouse quote, please give our team a call on 023 8033 2266 or email enquiries@storageonsite.staging.tempurl.host.

How big is the gatehouse unit?

Our standard gatehouse measures 7’9” x 4’6” (2400mm x 1400mm). It’s designed to offer a compact yet functional workspace – perfect for small site entrances where space is limited.

Are the gatehouses insulated and heated?

Yes, all our security cabins and gatehouses are fully insulated and fitted with a heater as standard. This ensures a comfortable environment year-round for your security staff or check-in teams.

Can the security hut be used as a check-in or ticket kiosk?

Absolutely. These units make excellent secure kiosks for check-ins, ticketing, visitor information, or weighbridge operations. With windows on two sides and a transaction hatch, they’re versatile enough for a wide range of uses.

What features are included with a gatehouse?

Each security hut comes equipped with:

Glazing on three elevations
LED lighting
Double plug socket
Internal heater
Insulated walls
