Delivery with SOS's Fleet

Unlike many other companies, our containers and site cabins are delivered by our own SOS trucks and drivers,
ensuring we’re with you every step of the way through to delivery.

Our exceptional service doesn’t stop once you’ve placed your order

Having our own fleet of delivery trucks and dedicated driver operators is something we’re proud of at SOS. We’ve worked hard over the years to develop a true end-to-end full service for our customers, so that we can ensure a top-level service at every stage of their orders.

With locations in Southampton and Kent, we have the ability to cover the South of the UK with ease.

As of August 2026, we currently have a fleet of 28 Fassi crane-mounted vehicles, most of which are less than 5 years old, and all fitted with trackers and 4-way camera systems. We are a FORS Bronze operator and our fleet is fully compliant with all Direct Vision and LEZ/ULEZ standards. The Fassi cranes are remote controlled and used for deliveries with bottom lifting attachments to the units, minimising the need to work at height as much as possible.

Our driver operators are fully trained and highly competent, often leaving customers amazed at their skill in positioning shipping containers and site cabins in some sometimes awkward or tight positions! If you are unsure about the site location to place a hired unit, we can arrange a site visit to assess and advise on your best options.

Received our new 20ft container in RAL6007 this morning and it looks fantastic and Storage on Site driver Harry Wood made an excellent job with positioning the container in our clients preferred position. Great work Harry and our client was extremely happy, well done.

S.O.S containers are our incumbent suppliers here at the Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa. Nothing is too much trouble! Dwayne their delivery driver is a legend! Incredibly skilled lifter, managed to tuck a container under a gable and get it much closer than I thought possible to the wall, not a scratch on anything. Handy reversing with a trailer too.
Would I recommend Storage on Site, definitely.
Would I play Jenga against Dwayne.... No!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service from start to finish.

The containers we had delivered were absolutely immaculate — perfectly clean, in excellent condition and exactly what we needed. I was particularly impressed with how well presented they were on arrival.

Kim and her team have been fantastic throughout the whole process. Communication was excellent, everything was well organised, and the delivery went very smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble, and the level of customer service has been first class.

It has been a pleasure dealing with such a professional, friendly and helpful company. I would have no hesitation in using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for containers and a reliable, high-quality service.

Thank you again to Kim and the whole team!
