Last week, we were proud to take delivery of two brand-new vehicles from Mac’s Truck Sales in Huddersfield – one Volvo and one DAF. These trucks were specifically chosen to replace older vehicles in our fleet, giving us not just a modern refresh, but a serious upgrade in capability and performance.
Both new vehicles come equipped with larger cranes, enabling our drivers to lift and position containers in even more challenging and awkward spaces than before. Whether it’s a tight driveway, a tricky access road, or a narrow construction site, we’re now better equipped than ever to deliver where others can’t.
This kind of investment isn’t about shiny new trucks for the sake of it, it’s about ensuring we remain a dependable partner to our customers. Our drivers Lee and Brad made the trip with our managing directors (and father and son) Pete and Neil to collect the new trucks from Huddersfield. Although they didn’t show it during the photoshoot (we wouldn’t expect anything less!), there were smiles all round from our drivers as the new trucks took their maiden voyage back to Southampton.
