At Storage on Site, we’re passionate about supporting local events, and one of our most valued partnerships is with the Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show. This fantastic community event brings together thousands of visitors each summer to celebrate steam engines, vintage machinery, crafts, local food, and rural life. It’s a staple in the Hampshire events calendar – and 2025 marked our fourth consecutive year supporting the show.
Since first working with the Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show Committee in 2022, we’ve built a strong working relationship rooted in flexibility, reliability, and a shared appreciation for what the event brings to the local area. Every year, our team works closely with the committee to understand their requirements and deliver practical, well-presented site accommodation and storage to support the event from setup through to pack-down.
A Custom Ticket Booth, Built for the Job
This year, the committee approached us with a specific request — a custom-built ticket booth to improve their front-of-house setup. Our fabrication team designed and produced a booth that ticked all the boxes: secure, weatherproof, easy to transport and position, and comfortable for volunteers and staff to work in during long shifts.
The ticket booth was a huge success and helped streamline visitor entry across the weekend, offering both function and a clean, professional appearance to welcome attendees.
On-Site Offices and Secure Storage
In addition to the ticket booth, we also provided a range of modular accommodation units to help the event run smoothly behind the scenes. Our 2025 contribution included:
- 5 x 20ft offices
- 5 x 10ft offices
- 1 x 20ft shipping container
These units were used for everything from site coordination and volunteer briefings to admin and equipment storage. Providing these spaces is a vital part of ensuring the committee has the infrastructure needed to manage the event effectively and comfortably.
We’re proud to have supplied these units at a nominal hire rate, as a gesture of support for the huge amount of voluntary work that goes into delivering such a successful event year after year.
